JOB PURPOSE:
Taam-ul-Khaas is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance
function, strengthen financial controls, ensure statutory and tax compliance, and support senior management
in strategic financial decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead overall Finance, Accounts, Treasury and Financial Planning functions.
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow plans and financial strategies.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reporting.
- Establish strong internal controls, maker-checker mechanisms and approval matrices.
- Monitor bank positions, cash flow, reconciliations, payables and receivables.
- Oversee restaurant food cost, inventory cost, payroll, utilities, rent, CAPEX and operating expenses.
- Develop outlet-wise profitability, cost-control and variance-analysis reporting.
- Supervise taxation matters, including applicable income tax, sales tax and withholding obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and regulatory authorities.
- Manage banking relationships, financing facilities and inter-company transactions.
- Ensure implementation of approved Finance SOPs and financial governance.
- Present financial performance, risks and recommendations to the Group CEO / Chairman.
- Support expansion, new outlet feasibility, investment decisions and financial due diligence.
- Strengthen controls over procurement, inventory, vendor payments and restaurant revenue reconciliation.
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum: CA / ACCA / ACMA / equivalent recognized professional finance qualification. Preference may be
given to CA-qualified candidates or candidates with substantial post-qualification financial leadership
experience.
EXPERIENCE:
10-15 years of progressive Finance & Accounts experience, preferably including 5+ years in a senior financial
leadership role. Restaurant, hospitality, FMCG, retail and multi-location experience will be preferred.
